Don't Tase me Bro!!

Police Tasers have gotten out of hand. It all started with the Florida student who coined the phrase "Don't tase me bros". Now we have another kid who wrongly thought it would be fun to see how long the grounds crew would take to get him off of the field at a Phillies game. He was tased live on tv. True he was a Phillies fan so that in itself somewhat justifies this, but really.
In between the two events several people have died due to complication of being tased and other health issues. Therefore, it can be a deadly instrument if used on the wrong person. Since cops don't have this information as to who might or might not die from being tased, don't you think tasing a kid for playing tag is a little extreme? I'm thinking the taser is for someone who has a knife and might hurt themselves or someone else. A drunk that is 6 feet eight, weighing 290 and completely out of control. Ok or maybe the University of Maryland student who they beat the crap out of for sticking his tongue out at a police horse(the taser would have felt better).
Maybe it's just me?

Verizon Sucks

I know it's not news but Verizon sucks and they really don't care. Just try to contact them and within 30 seconds you become frustrated. You have to have a password or they will not talk to you and the password has to be one that the CIA would approve of.

They advertise that you get over 15,000 on demand programs but unless you subscribe to all of the networks you only get about 25 movies.

The programming can not hold a consistant volume between shows and commercials let alone switching from channel to channel.

I really miss my cable TV but I'm still under contract and they will not tell me when it expires because I forgot my password.
